COLOR vs FORM, GRAY vs BRAIN WAVES

... As a dualist saying ...

I am now exhibiting "COLOR" on the left side of the Ground Floor of Fuchu Art Museum, that is 10 "GRAY PAINTINGS" With Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, having come back from the show in New York City.

I am now exhibiting "FORM" on the right side of the Ground Floor of Fuchu Art Museum, that is 20 "BRAIN WAVES DRAWINGS" made at the live performance held last month and 120 studies.

Tableaux of color, which contain "GRAY PAINTINGS," were introduced in the "Retrospective 06" on Dec 6's Asahi. "BRAIN WAVES DRAWINGS" as tableaux of form were introduced for two pages on the January 2007 issue of Bijutsu Techo.

Lecture "Essay on Hideki Nakazawa's Works by the artist and the curator: Silly CG and Method" will be held at the lecture room at the Ground Floor at Fuchu Art Museum on December 23. The exhibitions will be held through December 24.

fuchu flyer [Wrote on Oct 31, 2006]

I distributed the following BCC email today:

Not to Draw by Hand. To Draw by Brain.

Artists usually draw pictures by hand with brushes or
pencils.  However, the activities of brains must be more
important and essential than the ones of hands at the
moment of creating art.  Therefore, I decided to draw
pictures with electrodes being set on my head through
controlling the activities of my own brain.  The curved
lines so-called "brain waves" in medicine must be the
"drawings" in the world of fine art, directly drawn by
my brain without using hands.
