We finished all our "discovery residency" program. I am now at a hotel in Calgary. I was very happy as a residency artist of Banff Centre for the Art. Many thanks to all discovery artists and staffs, and to the Banff Centre, and to my sponsor Mercian Corporation, and to all those who supported my residency including over 400 receivers of my email art. I am very sad to have to leave Banff, so nice and beautiful place.
I am going to fly to San Francisco tomorrow in the very early morning, and then to Los Angels and to New York. I'm coming back to Japan before Christmas, within this 20th century.

Again I completed some of my new works here by this afternoon. One is "C$5.18- which consists of 150 coins (Money Amount No.5)," one is "772yen which consists of 13 coins (Money Amount for Rachell)," and one is "480yen which consists of 12 coins (Money Amount for Rachell)."

I completed some of my new works here by this morning. One is "Banff email piece," one is the artist book for it, and one is "C$37.58- which consists of 282 coins (Money Amount No.4)." It took all night long to make the latest one.

Oh, I have not updated this page for a long time (since 20001026). I have been busy for works in Japan. Anyway I am updating this page. Different-pixel arrangement No.8 (Banff email piece No.3) ...It may appear in square with monospace font such as Courier.
This series "Banff email piece" are the Method Paintings, made of symbols for elements and primary numbers, in way of somewhat similar to magic square. No.1 and No.2 are imperfect magic square, but this No.3 is perfect (maybe).

Yesterday I finished my 10-minute presentation. My turn was the first. I talked about "From Seurat to Methodicism" using my works papers with memos & 4 slides & a whiteboard. I forgot to ask whether I can or cannot send e-mail works to the attendants. Also I forgot to introduce this web page has already been in updating. For me English is difficult, but I am glad some persons said my works interesting.
The weather is calm this morning, so I took photos;

昨晩は（イーサ環境でない）寝室からもカルガリーのアクセスポイントへの接続に成功。岡部さんからいただいた紅茶を入れたり、時差も解消したりと、だんだん慣れつつあります。

I am now happy because this morning I can finaly connect to the ethernet. So 24-hour connecting to the internet. In 20001022, I connected dialing to the provider in Japan from my bed room, but now I can connect from my workroom #307(PHOTO). From my room I can see the beautiful mountains.
Now I am preparing for tomorrow's 10-minute presentation.

I am now riding on a bus from Calgary Airport to the Banff Centre. The time is 15:20. Yesterday I left Tokyo Japan and one night transit in Seattle. This morning I left Seattle and flew to Cargary airport. From now on I am joining the program of Artist-in-Residency in The Banff Centre for the arts. Program name is "Discovery". I am going to do "E-mail art works" here. This page will be updated any time. Sorry for bad English. I am thanking for supporting me this residency to the Mercian Corporation.
